I have heard
that folks are wondering why we choose the name that we did and why so long. Savannah, Georgia is my favorite city
and Cherokee Rose is a tribute to Steven's Cherokee (and Pawnee) hertiage. Incidentally, the Cherokee Rose is an actual
flower and is the state flower of Georgia. The legend behind the flower is connected with Cherokee Trial of Tears that
occured from 1838-1839.
Baby Savannah is a Wonderful and Amazing Baby. She is so peaceful and happy. And what a talker!
She loves to be talked with and already she is quite the conversationalist. A dear friend of mine tells me all the time
that Babies brings the most blessings and she is so right. Everything just gets better and better since Baby Savannah
"Nuna" and Garrett and Isabel have come to our house.
